WARRANTY CONDITIONS lasts 24 months as of delivery and handing over the keys, as specified by the dealer in the box reserved for the purpose on the warranty certificate. The warranty can only be accepted on presentation of the warranty certificate duly completed by your dealer (date, stamp and signature). The warranty from the abovementioned certificate applies to the unit part; the vehicle part is covered by the car manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty should, as far as possible, be redeemed at the dealership where the vehicle was purchased, both for the unit itself and for defective parts that may be changed separately. The motorhome shall be made available to the dealer for any exchange or repair. Any return transport costs or other direct or indirect expenses incurred shall not give rise to compensation. For certain appliances (heating, refrigerator, toilets, etc.) in your vehicle, the guarantees will be handled directly by the supplier. To obtain a complete list of the appliances concerned in your vehicle and the terms and conditions of the warranty, please contact your dealer. The motorhome is not intended to be used as a principal residence. Disorders resulting from this type of use will not be covered by the contractual warranty. It is important to fill out the warranty documents for appliances when provided and to return them to the various manufacturers. The warranty will not apply in the following cases: • The buyer has not complied with the instructions for use; • The motorhome has been modified by a non-approved person or by installing nonoriginal parts; • The damages or the defect are due to failure to observe the Highway Code; • Damages are the result of improper or negligent use; • normal wear and tear; • the motorhome has been repaired without first informing the manufacturer; • the motorhome has been converted or fitted with accessories not fitted by the manufacturer (example: motorcycle carrier, awning, etc.) and which are likely to affect its essential technical characteristics.

GENERAL PROVISIONS The warranty enters into effect on the vehicle delivery date. It provides full cover for damage due to unusual wear in the sealing of the unit. The work done under this warranty cannot be used to prolong its duration. It is up to the dealer to decide whether to repair or replace any damaged parts. TERMS OF VALIDITY The owner must respect the following provisions to benefit from the 5-year sealing warranty: • Have the regular scheduled services and checkups done at a Groupe Pilote dealer. The leakage test must be carried out every year on the anniversary of the vehicle being put into service. This check is at the customer’s expense, • Present the certificate with the annual inspection stamps, completed by the dealer, • Failure to respect either of these two provisions will lead to full cancellation of the 5-year sealing warranty. EXCLUSION CLAUSE This warranty does not apply if the defect results from: • repairing the motorhome without first informing the manufacturer; • improper use of the vehicle, • unauthorized modification of the unit. RESTRICTIONS The 5-year sealing warranty does not cover damage caused by external factors (crashes, weather conditions, flying gravel, etc.), damage caused by products trans-ported, exposure to natural catastrophes and poor maintenance. SERVICES It is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL to see your dealer every year. The dealer will supervise the inspection of your vehicle’s various sealing points.

FIAT CHASSIS - 24 MONTH WARRANTY - subject to FIAT terms & Conditions. 

"The Fiat Professional Authorised Network guarantees the vehicle base against manufacturing defects for a period of 24 months from the initial registration date without mileage limits. This Warranty consists of the obligation to restore the efficiency of the components that are unusable or inefficient due to a manufacturing defect, via their replacement with original  FiatProfessional parts or reconditioned Fiat parts or through their free repair".

Cosford Caravans & Motorhomes are not Fiat dealers and are not able to carry out any FIAT warranty work for customers. Any work carried out must be carried out directly with Authorised Fiat Professional Dealers.
